Abu El-Leef

Nader Anwar Gaber, known for his stage name Abo El-Leef, is one of Egypt’s most unique and satirical singers and stars. He sings flawlessly straight from the heart of Egypt.

Abo El-Leef, who tried to break into the music industry in the early 90s, worked in various industries including print and agriculture in Libya before returning to Egypt and meeting one of Egypt’s most respected poets, lyricists and composers Ayman Bahgat Amar, who helped Abo El-Leef finally enter the business.

His debut album, who saw him collaborating with Ayman Bahgat Amar, Mohamed Yehya and Touma, was released in 2010 to critical acclaim and was an instant success to all segments of the Egyptian society given his fresh social commentary.

In 2012, Abo El-Leef signed on with NRP Music and subsequently released his second album “Khaleek Fil Nour Ya Amour”. The album, distributed in Egypt and across the Middle East, signaled a powerful shift in Abo El-Leef’s musical career.
