Monday, October 29 2012

NRP Music is ecstatic to have signed on singer and composer Ramy Gamal, one of Egypt’s youngest and unique voices.

Our record label’s artist roster is growing steadily with Ramy’s decision to join after Abo El-Leef’s album in 2012.

NRP Music Director Karim El Hamidy said that the record label’s main concern is to revive the music scene in Egypt and the Middle East region.

“We chose Ramy Gamal for that exact purpose. He is renowned for his incredibly unique voice and songwriting skills, he has diverse talents that reflect exactly what NRP Music is looking to offer to the music scene in Egypt and the Middle East,” El-Hamidi said.

Nile Radio Production (NRP) Managing Director Hala Hegazi, said: “Our strategy is clear about the pool of artists we want to sign on at NRP Music. Our aim is raising the general taste of music among the Arab community."

Ramy Gamal is a young, talented star, who has been an aspiration to many of his listeners. He has already accomplished a lot and worked with the regions key superstars,” Hegazi said.

“We are looking to create a completely new image for Ramy,” El-Hamidi said. “We will make sure that all aspects of the album’s production are an addition to Ramy’s career.”

The album will contain an average of 12 songs, and is to hit the market in the summer of 2013. NRP Music has armed itself with Egypt’s top composers, lyricists, poets, producers and arrangers, to guarantee the album’s ultimate success once released.
